My connection to technology started with my grandfather. He became a Computer Operator in 1971 during a time when the path into tech was not built with him in mind. He understood early that computers were part of the future, and his path became the foundation for mine. Today, I carry that foundation into my work through Real Ctrl+. I bring a background in operations and analytics, supported by degrees in Information Technology and Information Security.I’ve always been interested in how things connect and what happens where people, systems, and information meet. I notice the gaps between how something is designed to work and how people actually experience it. That’s where the right small shifts can make the biggest difference.Beyond the business side of my work, I care about how people understand themselves and what kind of support can make life feel easier to manage. That’s what led me to create the Real Ctrl+ self-awareness app, designed to help people check in with themselves and notice their patterns over time.At the center of it all, I want people to feel capable, informed, and supported by the systems around them. My grandfather’s story reminds me that access is not always given, but what you know and learn can help you build what comes next.
